Our academic program is strengthened by the technology infusion that is utilized to enhance instruction in multiple content areas primarily through the use of laptops and iPads. It’s balanced by numerous opportunities to participate in sports, community service, performing and fine arts, and over 25 other extra-curricular clubs and activities. In short, Archmere is a place where students come to discover who they are by exploring interests, developing skills, and nurturing talents.

Recently Bianca received the prestigious 2014 Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian Award from the Wilmington Jaycees primarily for her volunteerism and leadership with the MS Society, on whose board she has served for 10 years, and for whom she founded an Emerging Leaders Council.

After graduation, our alumni go on to become successful professionals in their fields, leaders in the community, and living testimonies of their Archmere education. Archmere senior Jason Andrechak and 1972 graduate Dr. Steve Horan are just two examples of the unique students and alumni of Archmere Academy.

Jason Andrechak '13
is a National Merit Finalist, an Eagle Scout and a National Science Honor Society member who hopes to major in Chemical or Biomedical Engineering in college.

Dr. Steve Horan '72 is the Acting Branch Head at the NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and New Mexico State University, Dr. Horan has degrees in Physics, Astronomy and Electrical Engineering.

Archmere senior Corinne Sullivan and 1987 graduate Megan Totino Consedine are just two examples of the unique students and alumni of Archmere Academy.

Corinne Sullivan ‘13, Secretary of Executive Student Council, was a campaign intern for Congressman Carney of DE and a 2012 AP Scholar with Honor.

Megan Totino Consedine ‘87 is the first female Secretary of the PA State Senate. Her career includes service to the Navy and the PA Governor’s office.

A top student in the 2012 Washington National Opera Institute, Katherine Christenbury '13, placed first in the 2011 National Association of Teachers of Singing competition.

Meagan Miller '92, winner of top classical singing awards, performs globally, most recently at the Washington National Opera.

Tom Coyne '93 is a New York Times best-selling author who's first novel was made into a film.
