Archmere 1992 Graduate's Start-up Company Nominated "Top Technology of Tomorrow"
Carl Deirmengian '92 has come up with a process to diagnose infections of the knee, something that is very elusive for doctors and surgeons. His start-up company, CD Diagnostics, has been nominated as one of the "top technologies of tomorrow" companies by the 2012 BIO International Convention. Archmere Alumna Attends the White House Forum on Women and the Economy
Archmere Alumni Keely Bohner Barber '94 was invited to attend the White House Forum on Women and the Economy at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C. on April 6, 2012. Archmere Alumnus Involved in Training Program at Olin College: Boston Globe Reports
Scott Thomson '08 is a senior at Olin College, working on a team for AGCO, an agricultural equipment manufacturer in Georgia. He is part of an unusual program at Olin that aims to provide them with real-world experience and support the innovations that drive the economy and keep local companies competitive. Known as the Senior Capstone Program in Engineering, or SCOPE, the program is a graduation requirement for seniors that lasts through the school year and pairs teams of students with companies, ranging from small start-ups to large national operations. Archmere graduate, Soprano Meagan Miller '92 Praised by NY Times
The New York Times praises Archmere graduate and opera singer Meagan Miller '92 in a March 6 article titled "Young Soprano Turns Out to be Pro."
