About Archmere

Parent Clubs

At Archmere Academy, parents are as much a part of the community as the students, faculty, and staff who are on campus every day. Parent volunteers give their time and talents to enhance the academic, spiritual, and community experience that is Archmere. The two parent clubs on campus are the Mothers' Guild and the Fathers' Club. These organizations are incredibly successful in raising funds for the school and play an important role in sustaining traditions and building the community.

Fathers' Club

The Archmere Fathers’ Club supports Archmere Academy with its time and talents for the purpose of enriching the academic, social, athletic, and faith experience of our students. Meetings are on the first Thursday of the month, beginning in September and ending in May.

Signature Fathers' Club events include AUK Madness, a scotch and cigar night during the first week of the NCAA "March Madness" Tournament, Guest Bartending Night, and The Fathers' Club Retreat, which occurs in the spring and offers a theme and opportunity for reflection.

Mothers' Guild

The Archmere Mothers’ Guild was founded to connect the Archmere community and to provide opportunities for this community to prosper. All Archmere mothers are members of the Mothers' Guild and are welcome at all meetings. Mothers' Guild meetings are held in the Student Life Center and will begin with a dinner at 6:30pm.

Mothers' Guild signature events/activities include a Garden Rosary Tea, held in the fall, the Fashion Show showcase for Senior students, Mothers’ Guild Retreat in early spring, and The Garage Sale. The Mothers' Guild also shows appreciation to the faculty and staff through monthly appreciation breakfasts and the Christmas Fund.
