  • Become a Candidate

The very first step in the admissions process is to become a candidate through our Website. This can be accomplished in two ways: you can fill out a shadow day inquiry form and set up a shadow visit or you have the option to fill out a standard inquiry form. Once one of these forms has been completed and submitted, you will receive an e-mail providing you with a user name and instructions on how to log into your candidate page on the Archmere Website. From that page, you will be able to track your admissions progress and apply online.
  • Complete an Application for Admission

Our online application, transcript release, and teacher recommendation forms can be accessed through the candidate page beginning October 5, 2015. You must be logged in to view and access these forms. All application materials must be submitted by January 5, 2016, in order to be considered for admission. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $50.
  • Take the Entrance/Scholarship Exam

The entrance/scholarship exam for 8th graders will be administered on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 9 a.m. in the Student Life Center. If you have a conflict with the Saturday testing date, an alternate date is offered on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Life Center. Preregistration is required, along with a $50 registration fee. The registration form can be found online. Results will be released approximately one week after the exam.
