WHYY's "Friday Arts" Showcases Art Teacher Terry Newitt

In December, Philadelphia's WHYY Television brought a camera crew into Archmere Academy and filmed one of Mr. Terry Newitt's painting classes, which was aired as a segment on WHYY's show Friday Arts this weekend. The segment will also be aired tonight, February 8, at 5:30 pm. Friday Arts showcases the arts, entertainment, and dining in the Philadelphia areas. They also did an extensive interview in Mr. Newitt's home studio.

Friday Arts is a 30-minute arts, culture and entertainment magazine that features three segments: "Art," "Art of Life" and "Art of Food." Friday Arts casts a light on some of Philadelphia's best-kept secrets in the arts. The program is broadcast on WHYY-TV Fridays at 8:30 p.m., Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. Sundays.
