Archmere Hosts French Exchange Students

This month, Archmere welcomed ten students and two teachers from our French Exchange program with the Lycée Saint Vincent in Senlis, France. The group spent two weeks living with their American host families, attending classes and traveling the east coast. The group also connected with Auk Alums Phil Ryan ('15) and Nicole Kushner ('15) for tours of NYC and the University of Delaware. Some highlights of their trip included creating cups and developing film in art class, discovering gourmet delights such as cheesesteaks and cupcakes at the Reading Terminal Market, running the Rocky Steps, exploring the MoMA and attending Archmere’s SophFrosh Dance. The French students were thrilled to be part of the Archmere community, and we hope to reconnect with many of them next summer when we begin a new exchange cycle.
