Spring Teams Head Into Conference/State Championships
This week Archmere has multiple teams advancing in their playoffs/championships. Starting with Tennis, all three singles and two doubles advance to the 3rd round of DIAA State Tournament for both the men's (#5) and women's (#2) teams and will play today at 3:30. The Golf team also plays today at the DSAC Championship at Patriot's Glen Country Club. The Track team travels to Dover for day two of the State Meet. On Saturday, day one of the DII State Meet, Alex Giakas '16 placed 2nd in the shot put and Seth Bale '19 placed 8th in the 3200. Archmere's Varsity Baseball (#12) team will play today at Hodgson in the second round of their State Tournament against #5 Appoquinmink. The Archmere Rugby team had another big weekend and claimed their third championship title in a row, the 2016 Subaru 7's Champions. They are now headed to Nationals.
