Archmere Students Perform in Wilmington Drama League's "High School Musical"

Archmere senior Keelin Reilly and sophomores Katherine Alberta and Kyla McAvinue are set to perform in the 2016-17 Wilmington Drama League season opener, High School Musical: On Stage. In the modern classic, Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. This high-energy musical, adapted from the hit Disney Channel movie, is directed by Kathy Buterbaug and musically directed by Caty Butler. Keelin Reilly plays the part of Chad, Katherine Alberta is a Brainiac and Kyla McAvinue plays the role of a Thespian. High School Musical runs Sept. 9-25 at the Wilmington Drama League, 10 W. Lea Blvd., Wilmington. Performances are at 8 p.m. Sept. 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 2 p.m. Sept. 11, 18 and 25.
