Leah DaCosta '17 Boosts the Auks Past DMA in Overtime

In an exciting overtime match on Thursday afternoon, Archmere field hockey defeated Delaware Military Academy with a score of 4-3, boosting their record to 2-1. Senior Leah DaCosta translated Archmere's 21st penalty corner of the game into an overtime-winner as the Auks took on DMA at home. WDEL writes, In that extra session, Archmere kept the pressure up, and was finally awarded as DaCosta twisted around the defense and slid a shot far post to set off a celebration.

The Auks have scored 10 goals in their past two games, and will face off against Friends next week.
