Archmere Boys' Soccer Makes Headlines With Win Over DMA

On Tuesday the Archmere soccer team took on a tough DMA opponent and prevailed 1-0 at home, improving to 5-1 for the season. The Auks battled the entire first half with 11 shots and 6 corner kicks, but it wasn't until senior Sean Murray finally broke through in the 56th minute with a shot from just outside of the box that the scoreboard lit up.

WDEL writes: "I was just hitting off our striker's back-shoulder, looking to get anything that kind of squeaks out there," said Murray of his goal.

Archmere's next opponent will be St. Mark's on Saturday at 3pm in Pike Creek.
