Archmere Basketball Defeats DMA in Double Overtime

Last night Archmere's varsity basketball team took on DMA at home, overcoming an 11 point deficit and double overtime for the win. At halftime, DMA led Archmere 26-15. It wasn't until the fourth quarter that Archmere would go on a 13-2 run to tie the game at 38. At the end of the first overtime, with Archmere up 3, DMA tied the game at 47 with a huge three pointer.

WDEL writes of the final overtime: In the second overtime, Archmere would outscore DMA 10-6 with all 10 points coming from the line. The final game score was 57-53.


The Auks will play Tatnall next Thursday.
