The Admission Game

Conducted by Peter Van Buskirk, former Dean of Admission at Franklin and Marshall College, the program will be an interactive, case study orientation to college admission that is grounded in student-centeredness. Parents and students will learn to think about college applications the way admission officers do. Discussion points include the "Pyramid of Selectivity", the "Competitive Playing Field," the "Agenda" and the "Hidden Agenda" as well as the "hotspots and hooks" on the application itself. The program provides a fun approach to the college admission process.
