Financial Assistance and Scholarship Programs
Scholarships and grants are awarded based on superior academic performance and financial need. (No athletic scholarships are awarded). Students with superior performance on the entrance examination and a strong academic record are awarded a $2,000 annual scholarship. Archmere also offers several larger academic scholarships based on a combination of the student's entrance exam score, school record and interview.
The Financial Aid Committee seeks to make the Archmere experience possible for the greatest number of families. However, due to the fact that demand for financial aid outweighs our available funds, it is possible that not all families' needs can be met in full.
Financial Assistance Process
Any additional financial awards are need-based grants. Students with strong academic performance whose families are eligible for financial aid must:
- Submit a PFS form to SSS (School and Student Services for Financial Aid) by January 15th www.sss.nais.org/parents
- Submit a related income tax forms to the School and Student Services at P.O. Box 449, Randolph MA. 02368-0449
Deadlines and Conditions
Forms must be submitted by January 15th in order to help determine the value of the grant. Grants do not exceed one-half of tuition. Annual awards are made from the endowed scholarship funds and other sources.
Supported by the Archmere community as well as by foundations and the corporate sector, this program affords the opportunity of an Archmere education to gifted students of traditionally under-represented populations whose families demonstrate financial need. Students who meet Archmere's academic qualifications and complete the standard admissions process can receive four-year grants of significant assistance based on financial need.
