Walmart Blogs About NovelTies' CEO Shreyas Parab '18

Local young entrepreneur and Archmere Academy sophomore Shreyas Parab, CEO of NovelTies, was selected as a national finalist by the Young Entrepreneurs Academy this summer. The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a year-long program that teaches middle and high school students how to start and run their own REAL businesses. As a finalist, Shreyas was invited to Bentonville, Arkansas, the corporate headquarters of the YEA national sponsor, Walmart/Sam's Club, to pitch his business to buyers, participate in supplier workshops, visit with CEO Rosalind Brewer and experience the Walmart culture. Following the meeting, Walmart blogged about Shreyas and his company, and also announced in their post that Shreyas and NovelTies will be featured in the Sam’s Club Showcase store soon.
