Chris Boehm accepted the director of college counseling position at Archmere in the summer of 2014 after 17 years of work in college admissions, most recently as the vice president for enrollment and director of admission at Albright College. He’s completed two three year terms as a national assembly delegate for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and also served as the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling’s (PACAC) Government Relations Committee Chair & Public Advocacy Director. In 2012, he was recognized by PACAC with their William R. McClintick, Jr. Service Award, one of the Association’s highest honors.
He is presently serving a term on the NACAC Professional Development Committee, is on the Potomac Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling’s Summer Institute faculty, and is a member of Drexel University’s Counselor Advisory Board.
Mrs. Catherine Souza Reigner
Associate Director of College Counseling & Coordinator of Career Programs
Catherine Souza works as the Associate Director of College Counseling at Archmere Academy in Claymont, DE since July 2014. Previously, she worked as an Admission Counselor for both Muhlenberg College and Albright College, and most recently as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Lehigh University. She is pursuing her Masters degree at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA in their Educational Leadership Program. Originally from Northern California, Catherine moved to the East Coast to attend Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History along with a Secondary Education Certification in Social Studies in 2010. Catherine is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC), serving on the Professional Development Committee, serving on the Faculty for Summer Institute, co-chairing the Mainline Workshops each year, and presenting several times at the Annual Conference as well as a webinar in May 2017.
Mr. Logan Duffie
Associate Director of Admissions; College Counselor
Mr. Duffie is joining the College Counseling Team after nearly 10 years in college admission working at Ursinus College and Widener University recruiting both regionally and nationally. Mr. Duffie has evaluated well over 10,000 applications and essays and conducted countless interviews during his time in college admission and most enjoyed the opportunity to learn about and meet new crops of students every year. In addition to his role in each school's admission department, he also recruited for and coached with the men's lacrosse programs at both Ursinus and Widener. Beyond each school's campus, Mr. Duffie has been a member of both PACAC and NACAC and has attended numerous conferences and professional development events. For the past two years, he has also served as the Associate Director of Admission at Archmere, so he is no stranger to the Archmere community. Mr. Duffie holds a BA in Economics from Ursinus College and a MEd from Widener University.
Elizabeth Lyon has been the College Counseling Assistant for over 10 years. Mrs. Lyon is responsible for all document submissions to colleges and universities, college counseling scheduling, and data related information. She is extremely knowledgeable in Naviance, our college counseling information and document submission system, having attended several Naviance regional meetings. Mrs. Lyon is also the parent of two Archmere graduates.
