Erin Moffitt '11

Erin graduated from Drexel University in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration. From there, she worked for Comcast in addition to spending 3 years running different fitness studios throughout Center City Philadelphia, launching a personal training business of my own, and eventually owning and operating her own brick and mortar fitness studio in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia. In 2018, she left the fitness world to explore other entrepreneurial avenues, working as a small business consultant with many business owners in Philadelphia.  After that, she pursued a career in the financial services industry as a financial advisor. Currently, she works for a firm called Delaware Valley Advisors based in Montgomery County doing financial advising and she has continued to pursue her passion in fitness by training clients and doing small scale consulting for friends who own their own fitness businesses. Her goal is to cross her financial planning services with her passion for business consulting and specifically to help female entrepreneurs in the city succeed.

Candidate’s Statement
“I'm interested in joining the alumni council because Archmere was not only one of the most important and formative experiences of my life, but I also have a continued and very close bond with a very large number of my former classmates. My very best friends are people I graduated with. For our 5 year reunion in 2016, I planned a limousine bus to pick us up at Archmere and coordinated with a bar in Philadelphia to do a ticketed after party. I got over 65 people to purchase tickets for the bus, and therefore purchase tickets for the reunion. I love the Archmere community and to this day I strive to plan events that bring us all back together. I would love to be a part of the alumni council and play a role in the larger Archmere community as I am grateful for all that Archmere did for me and the everlasting friendships I have in my life because of it.”
