This more informal Open House is a great opportunity for 7th graders and their families to get a glimpse into the Archmere experience. 7th graders will have an opportunity to attend interactive (student and faculty led) tours, while parents stay for a presentation on our admissions process and hear from a panel of current parents about their experience.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the SLC, we will have refreshments available, the Varsity Shop will be open, and faculty and athletic representatives will be available for questions. The student tours and presentation portion of the Open House will begin promptly at 7 p.m. in the Student Life Center (SLC). Please arrive no later than 6:45 p.m.
Incoming students are invited to take placement exams in World Languages, Math, English, and/or Science. Students who elect not to take an exam, will be placed in the college preparatory level of the respective courses. While students are testing, parents can attend a presentation on curriculum/scheduling.
A welcoming and informative evening where incoming students and their parents can meet coaches and student club leaders, visit the Varsity shop, order school uniforms, and attend presentations academics, student life, etc.
In recognition of the yearlong support from our Fathers' Club and Mothers' Guild, all parents are invited to join us for a reception in The Patio. This is a great opportunity for incoming freshman parents to get a glimpse of what our dedicated parent clubs do for the school.
