Girls' Lacrosse Team Defeats Ursuline in Thrilling Match

On Friday, May 3, the Archmere girls' lacrosse team took on a previously undefeated Ursuline, claiming a 15-14 victory and improving their record to 10-2. The win came down to the last 15 seconds.

The News Journal wrote of senior Kate Olsen: "Honestly, It was really difficult to keep our composure when we knew they were coming back," Archmere's Kate Olsen said, complimenting Ursuline's teamwork in the late surge. "But all in all we did a really good job with draw control and the defense really stepped up in the end."

Seniors Caroline Donovan and Kate Olsen led the team with 4 goals each. The Auks will play Tower Hill on Thursday at 5:00 pm at home.
