Carrie Wiig '24 Recognized as American Visions Nominee

Carrie Wiig's '24 painting, Encircled, was selected as one of the Delaware Regional Scholastic Art Awards' American Vision Nominees. Each region selects five works to nominate for the American Vision award, the five best in show awards in the state of Delaware. One of the five nominees will be selected by the National Scholastics program to represent the Delaware Region.
Carrie's American Vision nominee status will be recognized at the forthcoming prerecorded virtual Delaware Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Ceremony, debuting on Saturday, February 12, 2022. From the pool of American Visions Nominees, the National Scholastic Art Awards convenes in New York City to select one writer and one artist from each region to receive an American Voices Medal or an American Visions Medal, a non-financial highest regional honor. These Medalists are celebrated during National Events and at the National Exhibition in New York City.

Congratulations and best of luck, Carrie!
