Musicians from the Helena Raskob Arts Institute Perform at Foulk Manor

In a tribute to Catholic Schools Week, six musicians from the Helena Raskob Arts Institute presented a recital to the residents of Foulk Living Retirement community on February 2, 2022.
 
Helen Qi ‘23, viola, and Daniel Qi ‘26, violin, performed an exciting duet, as well as individual solo compositions. Maile Gutsche ‘23, sang four selections in French, German, Italian, and English. Pianist Arlene Chiu ‘25, played a Beethoven Sonata, Andres Ramos ‘26 played two selections for harp, and Valentina Ramos ‘26 performed classic piano with an additional twist of jazz. The students were received warmly by the residents, who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon performance. The HRAI is under the direction of Mary Ellen Schauber.
