Our academic program is strengthened by the technology infusion that is utilized to enhance instruction in multiple content areas primarily through the use of laptops and iPads. It’s balanced by numerous opportunities to participate in sports, community service, performing and fine arts, and over 50 extra-curricular clubs and activities. The Admissions Process

  • Complete an Inquiry Form & schedule a Shadow Visit at Archmere

    The very first step in the admissions process is complete a standard inquiry form and schedule your shadow visit. This can all be done in one, convenient step!
  • Complete Your Application in Your Candidate Page

    Once step one is complete, we will prompt you to create a username and password for the candidate page on the Archmere Parent Portal Page. From that page, you will be able complete your application, download our required transcript request forms and directly submit teacher recommendation forms (beginning October 3). You must be logged in to view and access these forms. All application materials must be submitted by January 5, in order to be considered for admission. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $60.
  • Take the Entrance/Scholarship Exam

    The entrance/scholarship exam for 8th graders will be administered on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 9 a.m. in the Student Life Center. If you have a conflict with the Saturday testing date, an alternate date is offered on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Life Center. Preregistration is required, along with a $55 registration fee. The registration form can be found on your candidate page upon completion of your application. Results will be released approximately one week after the exam.
  • Schedule an Interview with the Admissions Office

    Students and their families who have completed all application materials and have taken the entrance exam will be invited to interview with a member of the admissions committee. A suggested time frame and sign up link for the interview will accompany the entrance exam results.
