Welcome Home!

Our alumni are our living history - carrying with us the traditions and heritage that make Archmere Academy unique. Because of this, we are valuable ambassadors for the school and one of the main focuses of The 2012 Strategic Plan. The new structure of the Alumni Association offers multiple ways for interested alumni to get involved in individual areas of interest, including the creation of several new alumni committees. These committees, each chaired by an elected member of the Alumni Council (the governing body of the Alumni Association.), will provide our alumni with opportunities to make an impact on the Association's alumni program by sharing individual talents and working in areas of specific interest.

As Archmere’s alumni, we represent a world-wide body of nearly 5,300 people. All graduates of Archmere Academy are members of the Alumni Association and are encouraged to participate on alumni committees, serve as Class Representatives, and run for election to the Alumni Council  The Archmere Academy Alumni Association is committed to serving as a valuable resource for graduates, an integral and highly visible part of the Archmere community, as well as a strategic partner in support of the Academy's mission, vision and goals.

Your insight and participation is key to continue the momentum of an active alumni program that offers our alums professional networking and social opportunities.

We invite you to get involved. Go Auks!

Opportunities to Get Involved

Your insight and participation is key to continue the momentum of an active alumni program that will offer you, our alums, professional networking and social opportunities, and will contribute to a stronger and more spirited Archmere community. Currently we are looking for volunteers to serve in the following capacities:

ALUMNI CLASS REPRESENTATIVES: Archmere is seeking multiple members of each graduated class to serve as a Class Representative. Class Reps will serve as the link between Archmere and their classmates by helping to communicate what’s happening on campus, promote Alumni events and help Archmere communicate with alumni by updating their contact information.
Class Reps will be invited back to campus twice a year for a social briefing by school leaders. They will have the opportunity to share their questions and or concerns on behalf of your class.

Class Representative volunteer opportunities include:
  • Connecting with classmates throughout the year via social media, email, letter correspondence or phone.
  • Recruiting classmates to attend existing Alumni programs such as Homecoming, Reunions, professional and social networking events, etc.
  • Encouraging classmates’ support of Alumni Association and School programming as well as their support of the Archmere Fund annually.
  • Serving as a “voice” for their class and providing feedback to the Alumni Relations Officer and the Alumni Council.
ALUMNI COMMITTEE MEMBERS: Serving as a committee volunteer provides an opportunity to reconnect with long lost friends and influence the strategic direction of Archmere’s alumni programming in your area of interest.

THE ALUMNI COUNCIL: Nomination for Council membership is open to all alumni and a nomination form is available online now. Click here to nominate yourself or your classmates! Elections will be held in April of 2014. Candidates for Council should have an interest in serving the needs of the Academy, and be willing to serve as ambassadors of the alumni.
