We accept most items in clean, sellable shape – housewares, electronics, toys, baby items, clothes, uniforms, holiday decorations. Some desirable items are flat screen TV’s, handbags, bikes, jewelry, green equipment, tools, furniture, and rugs. PLEASE NOTE: WE CANNOT ACCEPT COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, CAR SEATS, TUBE TV’S, ENTERTAINMENT/TV ARMOIRES, LARGE APPLIANCES OR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT.
The panel, consisting of representatives from various college admission offices, will take questiions from Archmere families and will be available for individual questions following the program.
Mandatory for Juniors. Open to all Archmere students and parents.
Seniors spend a day at the workplace of an Archmere alumni, parent, or friend to learn more about a career/job that is of specific interest to them. Students have traveled from Washington, D.C. to New York City to view surgeries, spend time on television sets, observe classrooms, particpate in college physics labs, tour engineering facilities, shadow architects, and many more.
