In response to rising rates of mental health challenges among young people, Taylor Fallers '23 is coordinating a mental health awareness event. Shine a Light: An Evening of Mental Health Awareness, which is open to the whole community, will feature mental health inspired artwork, literature, spoken word, and music by Archmere students. Attendees will also have opportunities to participate in interactive mental health-themed displays that strive to help individuals realize they’re not alone, promote self-care, and encourage help-seeking and personal empowerment. Lastly, a resource fair will provide information and resources to anyone who may need to access additional support for themselves or a loved one. Refreshments will also be provided. We hope you will join us for this important conversation about mental health!
