Men's Lacrosse Wins Diamond State Athletic Conference
On Wednesday night the Auks defeated MOT Charter 19-4, clinching the Diamond State Athletic Conference Title and securing a State Tournament bid. Archmere raced out to a 10-1 lead early, setting the stage for seven different players to score. Brian Neill '19 led the game with six goals, Mitch Moyer '19 contributed five, Cole Bauer '19 had three, Nolan Collins '19 two, and Ryan Farrell '21, Luke Grant '18, and Vincent Iannello '19 each scored once. Goalie Connor Smeader '18 made eight saves.
Archmere will host Bishop Eustace (New Jersey) on Saturday, before wrapping up at Tatnall and Tower Hill next week. The first round of the State Tournament begins the week of May 22nd.
