Archmere Boys’ Lacrosse Players Awarded 2018 Delaware All-State and All-American Accolades

Congratulations to the Auks on another exciting Lacrosse season! The following students have received 2018 Delaware All-State recognition for their play this year:

  • Mitch Moyer ’19 - All-State First Team, Attack
  • Cole Bauer ’19 - All-State Second Team, Midfield
  • Ryan Whelan ’18 - All-State Third Team, Defense 
  • Zane Fracek ’19 - All-State Third Team, Face Off 
In addition, junior Mitch Moyer was selected as a U.S. Lacrosse All-American. Seniors Ryan Whelan and Connor Smeader were selected as U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-Americans. The Archmere team went 7-0 in their conference, earning the Diamond State Athletic Conference Championship title, while junior Mitch Moyer was named DSAC Player of the Year, and Archmere Head Coach Pete Duncan was named DSAC Coach of the Year. 

Jake DiBattista, Dominic Cipriano, Sean Kelly, Connor Smeader, and Ryan Whelan have been selected to play for the North team, coached by Pete Duncan, in the Senior All-Star Lacrosse Game at Dover High School on June 12th. Game start time will be immediately following the end of the girls’ game, at approximately 8PM. Come out and cheer on these Auks as they play for the last time in their high school careers!
