Restaurant Owned by Meghan Lee '97 Garners Rave Reviews

Heirloom Restaurant in Lewes, DE, owned by Meghan Lee '97, was recently reviewed by restaurant critic and food writer Craig LaBan. The restaurant, located in a downtown Lewes mansion that dates back to 1899, was opened by Meghan in late 2015.

Meghan, a Chadds Ford native, has worked at Sovana Bistro in Kennett Square and Talula’s Garden in Philly before she landed at the beach. Heirloom supports local producers and farmers, and the menu changes often and seasonally. The restaurant is able to accommodate 71 guests with three dining rooms, a large private room and a bar.

LaBan wrote of Meghan's restaurant, "Heirloom is one of the loveliest seaside restaurants I've visited in a long while - and one that thrives all year, not just during the summer rush...Lee's restaurant has hit the perfect sweet spot of casual elegance."

Heirloom is open seven days a week, and is located at 212 Savannah Rd in Lewes, DE.
