Thirteen Archmere Academy Seniors Receive National Merit Recognition

This year, thirteen Archmere Academy students received National Merit recognition because of their high scores on the PSAT's, taken in their junior year.

Three seniors were announced as National Merit Semifinalists: Tullis Liu, William Liu, and Parker Vakili. These academically talented seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some $7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered next spring. Only 16,000 students (of approximately 1.6 million) achieve this honor and are invited to apply for the National Merit Scholarship each year.
