Michelle Midgley Chosen to Speak at American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese Conference

World Language and Culture Teacher Ms. Michelle Midgley was recently invited to present a 30 minute session at the 101st annual American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) Conference. The conference, which will take place in San Diego, California, from July 8-11, will offer 250 sessions and special events for approximately 800 attendees. Ms. Midgley's session will be a 30 minute presentation called: “Authentic Resources: Where they are and how to use them.” In this presentation she will teach attendees where to find authentic resources (anything made for Spanish speakers by Spanish speakers) and how to integrate them into their daily teaching. In this way, students learn not only the language and its specific colloquialisms, but also the culture of different Spanish-speaking countries.
