Freshmen Compete in Delaware National History Day Contest

This past Saturday, five 9th grade students, Eddie Zhang, Carter Kowalski, Simi Edeki, Ryana Rajesh, and Kenzie Fleming competed in the Delaware National History Day Contest.

Simi Edeki's research paper on Trials and Tragedy: The Polio Vaccines of the 20th Century, was a 2nd place senior division contest winner in her category. She will be going to University of Maryland in the summer with other Delaware winners to compete in the National contest.

Kenzie Fleming's paper was chosen for a special Sports in History award.
