Marissa Quercetti '21 and Cate Brown '20 Raise Money for Go 4 the Goal Foundation

For the 3rd year in a row during the month of September, football team managers Marissa Quercetti '21 and Cate Brown '20 spearheaded a fundraiser for the foundation Go 4 the Goal.
This year they were joined by other cheerleaders and friends Alyssa Mirenda '21, Savannah Lee '21, Elaine Zahnow '21, Marisa Pace '22, Pauline Hartman '22, Amelia Kaiser '23, Alyssa Novel '21, Alexandra Williamson '21, Allie McColgan '21, and on the soccer field Andrew Rosenbaum '20. Aside from supporting the cause with gold cleat laces and bows, the students and cheerleaders collected over $3,000 in donations at both the football and soccer games on September 28th and online.

Go 4 the Goal provides financial support to families of children who are battling cancer.
Families, caregivers, charities and research groups across the United States observe September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In the U.S., 15,780 children under the age of 21 are diagnosed with cancer every year; approximately 1/4 of them will not survive the disease.
