Amanda Treston '22 Qualifies for National Speech and Debate Competition

Junior Amanda Treston, representing Archmere Academy, qualified for the National Catholic Forensic League's national tournament in Oral Interpretation by taking first place in the Delaware chapter's competition this past weekend in a virtual event. Amanda will vie for national standing in the organization's virtual contest over Memorial Day Weekend.
In October of this year, Amanda won the Delaware Speech and Debate Association State Tournament, held virtually on Halloween day. Amanda took first place across 22 total entries in 7 divisions.

Best of luck to Amanda as she prepares for the national tournament!
