Camron Kaiser, Margaret Atkins Win Top Art Scholarship Awards

Two Archmere artists were recognized with the two top scholarship awards at the March 7, 2021 regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program. The event was held virtually. Senior Camron Kaiser, who is taught by Jody Hoffman, was awarded the first place scholarship from the Delaware Art Education Association and a $1,000 scholarship. Senior Margaret Atkins, taught by Art Department Chair Stephanie Silverman, was awarded the first place scholarship award by the Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts and a $2,500 scholarship. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are recognized as the nation’s most prestigious and competitive contest for excellence in fine art.
