Amanda Treston to Compete at National Catholic Forensic League Tournament

Junior Amanda Treston will be representing Archmere at the National Catholic Forensic League national tournament, being held online over Memorial Day Weekend. Amanda earned this honor by taking first place at the Delaware Speech and Debate Association's state competition on April 17 in the category of Oral Interpretation, where students present both poetry and prose selections.

Isabella Lehr '24 Places Third in National History Day Competition

Isabella Lehr '24 placed third overall in the state competition for National History Day in the Senior Paper Division. Her paper "Rachel Carson: Silent No More" explored the National History Day theme of communication by examining the writings of Rachel Carson and their impact on the United States Government as well as the pesticide industry.

Joseph Marino's Artwork Selected for Publishing in the Spring 2021 Celebrating Art Anthology

Archmere senior Joe Marino's art piece, "1944: Clarice Moore-Edmonson," has been chosen for publication by the Celebrating Art website. This is an honor, as only the top entries are published in an anthology that will record the creative works of today's student artists. The anthology brings together the best student artists in the United States.
