Sophia Tobin '23 Scores Winning Goal over Ursuline

The Archmere girls soccer team, ranked fourth in the Delaware Live Division II poll, got an early goal and made it stand up in a 1-0 defeat of No. 3 Ursuline in a key girls soccer showdown on May 5th at Ursuline. Archmere struck in the 19th minute as sophomore Sophia Tobin took a pass from Emma Gioffre '23 and buried a 25-yard shot over the outstretched hands of Raiders goalkeeper. The Auks are now 8-1 and heading to Sanford today to take on the Warriors. Congratulations to Sophia and the team!
