Archmere Defeats Caesar Rodney in Top 5 Boys Lacrosse Showdown

On April 30, the Archmere boys lacrosse team traveled to battle Caesar Rodney in a "top-5 boys lacrosse showdown", controlling the fourth-ranked Riders in all aspects of the game and left with a 15-4 win. The Auks improved to 8-1.
Archmere’s success started early on. Sophomore Jack O’Neill set the tone with one faceoff win after another, even turning a few of those into his own goals. By halftime Archmere was leading 8-2. Archmere's strong defense, led by junior Conor Udovich, kept the Riders off the scoreboard and prevented many quality opportunities for the hosts. By the third quarter, the Auks were unstoppable, winning most ground ball battles and intercepting passes. Tin total, the Auks outshot the Riders, 35-18.

Jack O'Neill finished the game with 6 goals. Tyler Allison '21 added 4. Goalie Conor France '22 was outstanding and finished with 12 saves.
