Archmere Dramatics Presents: "Lost Girl", by Kimberly Belflower

Winner of the 2018 Kennedy Center Playwrighting Award, Lost Girl continues the Peter Pan legend by exploring arguably the main character of the story, Wendy. Long after returning from Neverland, Wendy decides that she must find Peter in order to reclaim her kiss and move on with her life. Along the way, she meets other girls who went to Neverland and learns she is not alone. A coming-of-age exploration of first love and lasting loss, "Lost Girl" continues the story of J.M. Barrie’s beloved character – the girl who had to grow up.
Auditions for the Archmere fall play production, Lost Girl, were held in August on campus. Sixteen students auditioned for the production, including three ninth graders. The play will run Friday, October 1st at 7:30pm and Saturday, October 2nd at 2:00pm and 7:30pm in the Archmere theater.
