Fall Athletes, Teams Earn Conference/District Awards

Congratulations to all of our fall athletes who were named to the Diamond State All-Conference teams and the All-District team for football. Several teams won the Diamond State Athletic Conference Championship: field hockey, volleyball, and the JV boys cross country team all claimed the title with their successful conference seasons. Archmere had another incredible showing in the State Tournament, with field hockey reaching the championship game. The second-seeded Auks were playing in the title game for the first time in more than three decades. In addition, the girls cross country team had the best State Championship team finish since 2010, placing 2nd overall in the state. The boys cross country team also had a noteworthy season. They entered the State Championship meet unranked and ultimately finished 3rd in the state. The volleyball team reached the quarterfinals of the DIAA State Tournament, while the football team reached the semifinals.
