Indoor Track and Field Breaks Their Own Records

After successfully competing in big races at the Armory in New York, the Archmere winter track team participated in their last meet of the duel season at Tower Hill this past weekend. Once again, the team put up multiple personal bests and smashed a few school records. They will compete in the DIAA State Championship Meet on February 4th at the Prince Geo Sports Complex in Maryland.
At Tower Hill last weekend:

- Nick Donelson '23 broke the 800m school record with a time of 2:04.94
- Maddie Priest '24 improved her own school record in the 800m with a time of 2:23.06
- Alanah Weaver '23 improved her own school record in the shot put with a throw of 32-11
AND
- The boys 4x400m crushed the school record with a time of 3:41.56. The team was made up of Bobby McLaughlin '24, Nick Donelson '23, Colin Arcari '24, and Gavin Lee '24.

Unbelievable performances by the track and field team this winter. Best of luck at states!
