Angela Zhang ’26 Competes at Ticket to Broadway
Angela Zhang ’26 competed in the Ticket to Broadway Wilmington Regional Competition the weekend of February 24th-26th. Ticket to Broadway is a high-energy, touring dance competition offering Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Levels. Angela dances for the American Dance Academy, but registered in Ticket to Broadway with a solo and duet dance.
Angela’s solo,“Nicest Thing,” received a Perfect Platinum, first place in the category, and first place overall. She also received the 13+ Over Top Billing Award, as well as the Elite Dancer of the Week title award. Additionally, Angela received two scholarships, a $1000 Discovery Spotlight Scholarship, and a $500 Scholarship to The Hollywood Summer Tour and The Business of Dance.
Her duet, “Hanging on to Hope”, received Platinum, second place in the category, and second place overall.
