Archmere Science Olympiad Team Medals in Fourteen Events

On Saturday, March 4, Archmere’s Science Olympiad team competed at the Delaware State Tournament. With only a team of 20 students, they competed in 19 events throughout the day. Our students medaled in 14 of the events. Competing against 27 schools and 46 teams, Archmere’s team had an outstanding event!

  • Bridge - Justin Flenner '24 placed 7th, Nic Petillo '24 and Max Kelleher '24 placed 10th, 
  • Cell Biology - Jessica Grier '23 and Clara Korley '24 placed 2nd, Michelle Zhang '24 and Katie Anthony '24 placed 9th  
  • Fermi Questions - Bradley Hu '23 placed 4th
  • Forensics - Michelle Zhang '24 and Celeste Vail '26 placed 4th, Kaia Yalamanchili '24 and Anna Benner '24 placed 10th
  • Forestry - Paige Noval '26 and Zoe Thornton '26 placed 9th
  • Green Generation - Anna Benner '24 placed 3rd  
  • Remote Sensing - Alex Linton '23 and Lincoln Yalamanchili '26 placed 1st
  • Write-it-Do-it - Kaia Yalamanchili '24 and Audrey Zou '26 placed 5th
