The Archmere golf team traveled to Baywood Greens Golf Club in Long Neck, Delaware on May 30 and 31 to compete in the DIAA State Golf Championships. They placed third overall with a school record for lowest score at the State Tournament and just 4 shots behind the champions. During the two - day State Tournament, sophomore Danielle Higbee made headlines for scoring a hole-in-one on hole 6. Meredith Finger ’26 placed second overall, while Danielle Higbee ’25 placed third.
The team had a successful season, boasting a 13-3 record overall and breaking the school scoring record for a 9-hole match. In addition, Archmere golf won the Diamond State Athletic Conference Championships on May 22; the team took home first place, and sophomore Danielle Higbee was the overall champion with a score of 69 for the second year in a row.
