Archmere Students Raise Money for Charity on the Courts

This month, Archmere students helped the fight against childhood cancer just by having fun on the court! The 4th Annual B+ Volleyball Tournament was held on March 11th in the Moglia Fieldhouse. Over 100 students, faculty, and staff participated in the Tournament, which featured teams of six, playing on two courts in the fieldhouse. The night was a huge success, as the Archmere community was able to donate over $8,700 for The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which raises money to support families dealing with childhood cancer. The funds will help 12 families with their expenses.

In addition to playing in the tournament, participants made cards and care packages for patients at AI DuPont Children's Hospital. Two B+ Heros and their families talked about their cancer experiences and thanked the crowd for their support.
