Claymont Train Station Design Competition

On May 24, 2017, several prominent members of the Delaware architectural community came to campus to critique, judge and award cash prizes to our Architectural-Environmental Design students' who have been working on designs for a brand new Claymont Train Station. Judges included New Castle County Councilman, John Cartier; The CEO of the Delaware Transit Corporation, John Sisson; Brett Sadler of the Claymont Renaissance Development Corporation; Bill Lenihan of Tevebaugh Associates; and J. Harry Feldman of Friends of Furness.
 
Students gave oral presentations and displayed their 2-D designs and models for the new Claymont train station. The final winners were:
 
1st Place - Evan Mader ’18
2nd Place - Ryan Walsh ’18
3rd Place - Joe Bolner ’17
