Girls' Lacrosse Wraps Up a Successful Season With 2017 Delaware All-State Honors

The Archmere Academy Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse team had one of its best seasons ever, boasting a 14-1 record this spring. With only one loss to St. Mark’s in the regular season, the Auks took on Padua in the Quarterfinals of the DIAA Tournament, winning 17-8. The team made it into the semifinal round, falling to St. Mark’s in an exciting back and forth match by only one point.

The following players have received 2017 Delaware All-State recognition for their play this year:
  • Sydney Yanick (All-State First Team, Midfield)
  • Maggie Malloy (All-State First Team, Defense)
  • Caroline Donovan (All-State Second Team, Midfield)
Again, congratulations to the Archmere Girls' Lacrosse program for an excellent 2017 spring season!
