Archmere Baseball Players Compete in 2017 Delaware Carpenter Cup
The 32nd annual Carpenter Cup, a baseball tournament for sixteen high school All-Star teams from Eastern Pennsylvania, South and Central Jersey and Delaware, expose the region’s high school players to college recruiters and professional scouts, with playing rules that encourage coaches to use their entire roster. This year four Auks have been named to the "Delaware North" roster: Patrick McVey ’17, Colin Lynch '17, Michael Dellose ‘19 and Tommy Alexander ‘19. Archmere Head Coach Chuck Clausius will serve as one of the Assistant Coaches to the team.
The first two rounds of the single-elimination tournament are played at FDR Park in Philadelphia, with the semifinals and final played at Citizens Bank Park. Delaware North will take on Berks County at 4PM in its tournament opener on Thursday, June 15.
