Paul Henjes '16 Attends German Climate Conference in Bonn

2016 Archmere Academy graduate Paul Henjes recently attended the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change's 23rd Conference of the Parties as a delegate, on behalf of the Tufts University Institute of the Environment. The conference, held November 6-17, was hosted in Bonn, Germany by the government of Fiji in collaboration with the government of Germany. While at the conference, Paul attended side events relating to sustainability in fashion, the role of electricity in a decarbonized economy, and the relationship between gender roles and climate change, among others. He also explored various countries' pavilions and exhibits for various non-profits, universities, and NGOs. 

Paul is currently a sophomore at Tufts University majoring in Sociology and Environmental Studies, with a focus in sustainability. He took AP Environmental Studies and 4 years of German while at Archmere.
