Lauren Chua '18 Competes in Youth America Grand Prix for Dance

Archmere senior Lauren Chua recently performed in the Youth American Grand Prix for Dance held in Philadelphia on January 6th with the First State Ballet Theatre. Her ensemble placed second in the Semi-Finals with "Hope", choreographed by Viktor Plotnikov, who also won the award for Outstanding Choreography. The ensemble has been invited to compete at the Finals in New York in April. Students will also be performing "Hope" at the Delaware Dance Festival in February and the Philly Youth Dance Fest in March. Lauren also finished in the top 24 as a soloist in the Senior Classical division.
