Archmere's 2017 Yearbook Wins Gold and Silver

Archmere's 2017 Yearbook won First Place for the American Scholastic Press Association Contest, an annual contest/review for Scholastic Yearbooks, Magazines and Newspapers. The Association believes that the quality of a school's publications and how they present themselves to their reading community is a guidepost to the quality of the publishing school. Many studies have shown that the school yearbook is the one single item most often saved by graduates and can be located by most people even ten years later. This is the second year in a row that Archmere's yearbook has won.

The Columbia Scholastics Press Association (
CSPA) is an international student press association, founded in 1925, whose goal is to unite student journalists and faculty advisers at schools and colleges through educational conferences, idea exchanges, textbooks, critiques and award programs. CSPA is affiliated with Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. The CSPA offers several contests and a critique service for student media. The contests, including the annual Crown Awards and the Gold Circle Awards, select the best from among many entries. This year, the 2017 Archmere yearbook has received the Silver Medal Award.
