9th Grade Math League Team Earns First Place

In the last meet of the year, Archmere's 9th grade Math League team placed first in the meet and first in the region overall, tied for both with the team from Salesianum. Freshman Alex Lu secured 3rd place in our region and Rohit Mathur is in 4th place for their individual scores.

Archmere's team consists of eleven students who compete at the 9th grade level on two teams: James D'Elia, Maggie Dempsey, Nolan Fogarty, Caroline Ho, Bridget Knitowski, Alex Lu, Rohit Mathur, Katerina Medori, Owen Phillips, Norah Prendergast, and Sean Vanson.

Sponsored by DCTM, the Delaware Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the purpose of the Delaware Secondary School Mathematics League is to cultivate an interest in mathematics through team competition. Archmere competes in four Math League meets each year. Congratulations to all the members of our teams!
